TKC youths (Champions) are the future of the church and community, and we at TKC are committed to equipping them to be wholesome ambassadors.
Mandate of Champions Ministry:
To provide a safe-space zone where adolescents between ages 14-17 can worship God together, grow spiritually, have honest conversations about real issues, and be impacted to impact others for Christ.
Strategies for Fulfilling This Mandate:
- Champions Connect: Every Sunday, Champions meet for Champions Connect Services (CCS), to worship God and fellowship together between 11am -1pm.
- Champions Bible Studies – During CCS, Champions are spiritually groomed. This is achieved through bible studies led by Champions Coordinators and based on CCS quarterly themes – Self-check winter, Pass it on Fall, Chasing God Spring and Summer Bonding.
- Champions Convos: In CCS, discussion sections are led by Champions on contemporary issues, and Champions Coordinators impart biblical perspectives.
- Champions Events – Champions are equipped to win in life and reach others for Christ through their events which include – We share, SummerFest, IRise, Jollof & Jive, and Champions Shadow Sundays.
