The Evangelism Ministry is mainly concerned with evangelism and follow up, which is the sharing of the good news of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We talk about His life, death, resurrection, and of course, the offer of His presence in the lives of mankind, as well as the hope and assurance of eternal life with Him.
Before the foundations of the world, God knowing that man would sin, provided salvation through the atoning sacrifice of His son who died on the cross (John3:16).
In the Evangelism Ministry we regard all new coverts as spiritual infants. They are new born in Jesus Christ. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new (2 Cor.5:17). Consequently, we take on the responsibility of ensuring that, new Believers are not abandoned in their spiritual infancy.
We strive to ensure the progressive salvation of new Believers by seeing to it that, as new born babies they do not lack spiritual parents, nurturing, and guidance as they grow.
In summary, our task of evangelism is never complete until all of mankind hears about Jesus Christ. Those who yield their lives to Him must be followed up with a view to making them disciples of the Lord, while also getting them well established in the Church.
